Manors construction began in 1775, a rich nobleman, the actual state councilor and Chamberlain Vsevolod Alekseevich Vsevolzhsky.
In 1992 at the initiative of the Association Lermontovskoye Heritage established the National Center Lermontov Serednikovo to the preservation, restoration and development of the estate and the adjacent territory.
To date, the central part of the estate carefully restored to all that managed to save from total destruction: a unique painting ceilings, stained-glass windows, stylized in the spirit of the time the furnace, gorgeous chandeliers of gilded bronze, each detail - notice the restoration - an exact copy lost originals, and much more. To save the foundation of the wing and the wall of an infinitely emerges at them black, turned for help to the Dutch restorers. Using new technology, they have "injected" with a special solution for the entire perimeter of buildings.
Big Oak Hall oval table and chairs for the Oval Room is designed by architect Sergei Kartashov (last restorer), and the furniture recreated by local craftsmen, cabinet makers, mindful of this manor style. Unfortunately, much has been lost forever, such as textiles preserved only pelmets, the remnants of brushes on the eaves and one tapestry, recovered in the New Jerusalem studio.
